We have worked
hard to build a culture of recognition and reward within
the Organization. We appreciate and celebrate exceptional
contributions by our staff, whether job related or a demonstration
of commitment to our values. All our staff from different
group companies, carrying out various functions and at varying
levels of seniority are eligible for the Groupwide VSPARC
(Values Superior Performance and Recognition Creation) awards.

Jehan's selection
as the ERP coordinator came as no surprise given his gift
for being calm and collected in times of heavy stress. Handling
the Centre by himself, he would not forget to check with
the SAP consultants and sort out problems for the staff.
He would often, without a grumble, ensure everyone was accommodated
on the times convenient to them and not him, no matter how
many times a day he had to go back and forth from the ERP
office and the Head Office.
This considerate attitude continued even when the training
sessions lasted well into the night. Jehan would not leave
until he had ensured that everyone was safely on their way
home. Those who did not have transport were invariably given
a lift home by him and he would more often than not return
to the ERP office to complete his own work, whatever the
time of night. |

| Exceeding
Customer expectations by way of delivering a machine on
a holiday, providing a service beyond his job scope, enhancing
shareholder value |

| Bandula was
assigned to deliver a photocopier machine on a Poya day holiday
to a customer, which he agreed to even at the cost of his
personal time and commitments . Furthermore, he exceed the
scope of his job by not only transporting the machine but
personally delivering the machine alone, carrying a 47 Kg
1560 machine to the BMICH exhibition hall and installing
it. Usually, this job requires 2 people to carry this machine.
The customer was very appreciative of his level of service
which exceeded customer expectations. |
