Based on the above, the John Keells Group is committed to better integrating sustainability throughout its value chain in each industry group. This strategic outlook is based on the 'triple bottom line' (TBL) of economic, environmental and social performance, which is reported annually through the Group Sustainability Report. The Group has understood the importance of identifying and engaging with all relevant stakeholders, further supported through adherence to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI-G3) framework. The organisation is also a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and supports the Millennium Development Goals, further reiterating its commitment towards sustainable development.
