With an excess of 10,000 employees talent management at John Keells is a challenge. We believe that ‘our talent’ is our biggest asset and we strive to manage them through different processes.

Whilst encouraging and facilitating cross functional exposure/experience both vertically and laterally, exposing them to multiple career tracks, we also expose our employees to tools such as development centres, in order for them to understand the competencies required to climb to the next level in the career ladder and provide experiential learning opportunities such as coaching and mentoring.
 
The cornerstones of our talent management is rigour in the talent identification process, training and developing our talent differently in order to fast track their careers and being a large and growing business that provides opportunities for developed talent to move across our businesses.
